Muscari flowers – print 18 x 12 inches

These grape hyacinths, also known as Muscari Armenicum, are beautifully taken with selective depth of field giving the impression of a field of flowers when in reality there were only a few of them! I took this image at the Citys greenhouse here in Kingston. The City opens their greenhouse to the public for a few Sunday afternoon visits during February. A splash of colour during the winter is always a breath of fresh air.
